Who can apply for ScanPay Wallet?

Any U.S. business can apply — LLCs, S-Corps, C-Corps, partnerships, and sole proprietors all
qualify. ScanPay Wallet is designed to manage business expenses — like paying
subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Do recipients need to download an app or sign up?

No. Recipients get paid directly into their existing U.S. bank account — no ScanPay app, no
signup, no account required. If you don’t have their bank info, send them a Pay via Link; they
enter their bank details once and the money lands in minutes.

Is ScanPay a bank?

No. ScanPay is a licensed money transmitter, regulated under state Money Transmitter
Licenses. Wallet funds are held at our banking partner, JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A.

How is this different from Zelle?

Zelle is built for personal payments — daily caps, one transaction at a time, only works between
participating banks. ScanPay Wallet is built for business — no daily caps, send everyone in one
tap, and direct to any U.S. bank account.

What states is ScanPay Wallet available in?

Currently available to businesses with a primary address in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas,
Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, or Rhode Island. Recipients can be anywhere in the U.S. More
states coming — request access, and we’ll notify you when yours is added.

What states is ScanPay Wallet available in?

Where is my money held? Is it FDIC insured?

Wallet funds are held in a custodial account at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. The account is held
by ScanPay on behalf of merchants — it’s not a deposit account in your name, so pass-through
FDIC insurance isn’t guaranteed. See the Wallet Addendum for full detail.

Can I withdraw all my money out at any time?

Yes. You can withdraw your available wallet balance to your linked U.S. bank account at any
time — free, and money lands in minutes.

Is ScanPay Wallet a new company?

No. ScanPay has been providing payment services to U.S. businesses for over 5 years. The
Wallet is a new product, available in the states where ScanPay holds Money Transmitter
Licenses.

PRICING

What does it cost?

No monthly fees, no setup fees. Instant payments are $2 flat per send. Standard Transfer (2
business days) is free. Wallet-to-wallet transfers and withdrawals to your linked bank are also
free and instant.

Do my recipients pay any fees?

No. Recipients always receive the full amount — never with fees deducted. Whether via instant
transfer, ACH, or Pay via Link, they get every dollar you send.

What if my recipient already has a ScanPay Wallet?

The transfer is free and instant — wallet-to-wallet payments skip the $2 instant fee. Funds land
in their wallet immediately.

MECHANICS & DAY-TO-DAY

How do I add funds to my wallet?

Every wallet has its own unique account and routing number. Add funds via ACH transfer from
your linked U.S. bank account — typically 1–2 business days. You can also receive payments
directly into your wallet — share the account and routing number on invoices, or use it as your
deposit account in Square or other payment processors.

Can I send money on weekends and after hours?

Yes. Instant payments process 24/7 — weekends, evenings, holidays. Standard Transfer
payments are initiated anytime but only clear during banking business days (Monday through
Friday).

How does ScanPay deliver payments?

ScanPay sends payments through the Real-Time Payments (RTP) network whenever possible
— funds land in the recipient’s bank in minutes. If the recipient’s bank doesn’t support RTP yet,
ScanPay automatically routes the payment through ACH instead.

Which banks support instant transfers?

Over 900 U.S. banks and credit unions are connected to the RTP network, including JPMorgan
Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citibank, U.S. Bank, and most major regional and
community banks. Coverage continues to expand.

Are there transaction or volume limits?

Yes — but they’re set per account, sized for real business volume, and shown in your wallet
settings. Higher limits are available on request as you scale. Most businesses won’t run into them.

Can I cancel a payment after I send it?

Instant payments are irrevocable — once submitted, they can’t be canceled. Standard Transfer
payments may be canceled before processing starts, though we can’t guarantee it. Always verify recipient details before sending.

Will I get 1099 records or year-end tax forms?

ScanPay provides detailed transaction records you can export — everything you need to prepare 1099s through your accounting software or tax preparer. ScanPay isn’t a payroll or tax-
filing service, so we don’t issue 1099-NEC forms on your behalf.

TEAM & SUPPORT

Can multiple people on my team access the wallet?

Yes. Invite team members from your account settings. Each person gets their own login, and you choose what they can do — view, initiate transfers, or manage settings. Each role has its own payout limits.

How do I reach support if something goes wrong?

Email support@goscanpay.com any time. For urgent issues — wrong recipient, missing
payment, account access — reach out right away so we can investigate.

ONBOARDING & ROADMAP

How long until I can start sending money?

After Request Access, we’ll email next steps within an hour with a link to complete identity and
business verification (KYC/KYB). Most applications are approved within 1–2 business days.
Once approved, you can fund your wallet and start sending immediately.

What documents do I need for KYC/KYB approval?

Standard business and identity verification: your EIN (or SSN if you’re a sole proprietor),
business formation documents, government-issued ID for the account owner, and ownership
details for anyone with 25%+ stake. The onboarding flow walks you through each step.

What states are coming next?

We’re actively adding more states. Specific timing depends on each state’s regulatory process
— request access from any state, and we’ll notify you the moment ScanPay Wallet becomes
available in yours.
